Welcome to The Black Turnip's Mapping Site!

Here you will find the work of mappers who will bring you up and coming projects for games like Half-Life and Team Fortress Classic. If you wish to send me any information about your maps, or any others, or wish to upload any of your own maps onto the server, just e-mail me, or leave a message in the forums.

Today, I have mostly been playing...TFC!

But apart from that, I managed to write up a quick mapping tutorial the way I would do it, because SO MANY people have been asking me how to map (due to popularity of custom maps on SUPER SUSPIRIA). I also have made a small 'CLASSIC' Deathmatch map for TFC in which I have tried to recreate the atmosphere of the original 3D games such as Rise of the Triads, Doom  and Quake. Its called KISSMYASS (thanks SuPeRLaDy), and you can get it on the CURRENT MAPS page. It has currently become my most popular map so far, with only good reports coming in from people.

NEWS ON WAXWORK - You can get a special PREVIEW map (2 maps actually) on the forums if you could be bothered to find them. If you HAVE them, but don't know how to play them, check out the Mapping Tutorial (which tells you how to run maps from the console). Look out in the future for a PROFESSIONAL WAXWORK PREVIEW MAP, which will be needed for play-testing - anyone wanna test it???

ALSO ALSO - Due to popular demand (*cough*) the LIST OF JUSTICE HAS APPEARED ONLINE - YES CHECK IT IMMEDIATELY TO SEE WHERE YOU COME ON IT (if at all)!!!

SO - Get the tutorial HERE or Get KISSMYASS HERE or Get THE LIST OF JUSTICE HERE!

I think its time for an update… 2 new maps - Head  Hunter and Wolf3d - you can get them on the maps page. Also, look out in the future for a new map by both me and
SUPERLAG based on several Scary Movies, and set in a waxwork museum - check the forum for information on its progress and the Map Previews page.

You can also get a downloadable preview map from the forum...
